Unlike all the climate changes that have affected the planet throughout its history, the hand of Man is behind most, if not all, of the causes of the change we are witnessing at the present time, and there is another completely new element, which is the time period over which the change is occurring. No change in the global climate in the past has occurred in so few years.The "Mars Sample Return Campaign" is a joint NASA/ESA effort to bring Martian rock and soil samples safely to Earth, where they can be investigated in unprecedented detail using the full capabilities of Earth-based laboratories.
