This book was written in 4 days . . . I don't know about you but when I am working on an art piece and I get a good idea, it feels like a lightning strike. My entire body gets warm as a fire has been set inside of me. A creative surge of vision, inspiration and action, intersecting at one time, and expressed through my art. As an author, comedian, rapper, singer, songwriter, videographer and teacher, I often find myself in need of a sustainable source of creative energy to complete projects, songs, books, videos and more. This book, "Creative lightning" is about the feeling you get when an idea strikes and you are in the perfect place to act on it through illness, financial insecurity, employment troubles and chaotic relationships & homelife. Through personal stories, my real life examples, I speak about harnessing, building, communicating, enjoying, failing and succeeding as a lifelong creative. I will go over how I designed my own creative journey as a youth and adult between a busy life schedule, how I manage my time as a working adult and what habits I learned along the way to help overcome challenges . Ultimately, it is through struggles & challenges, ones I have given myself and the ones I have been given by fate, where I supercharge my creative spirit and abilities to act when struck with creative lightning.
