When I'm finally reunited with Tallis and Bill after our last harrowing escape from The Underground City, you'd think things would finally start getting back to normal. But, things are far from getting back to normal. As per usual. And in this episode of my life, I'm: ... in danger of being sent to Shade for one hundred years ... still the subject of Alaire's fascination, only now he's more determined than ever before to make me yield to his entreaties ... returned to the Underground City, and more pointedly, the seventh circle, where I'll have to survive amidst the battling Blood Plains ... and last, but not least, there's a new character in town--the fabled Minotaur. And the Minotaur, otherwise known as Asterion, happens to spark something within me I don't understand.
