Now that freelance cartoonist and former pastor, therapist, and conflict mediator Erik Johnson is retired, he's bringing out of storage his favorite gag cartoons. These first appeared in dozens of religious magazines between 1980 and 2010. And he's added many that have never seen print before. The tumultuous decades prior to and following Y2K were challenging in many ways and these cartoons chronicle the fads and foibles of clergy, churches, and parishes of the time.
