This set offers the original versions of every hit single recorded between 1960 and 1974. There are 22 cuts here, each of them a smash either regionally or nationally, from and their signature version of to ' the early hits like covers of and and originals like About the only criticism that can be made here is that these tracks aren't presented in chronological order, but that's easy to forgive since they make such aesthetic sense in this context.
