Loss and grief are universal life experiences. Losing those you love is something you are never quite prepared for, whether sudden or anticipated, it is always painful. There are also other losses in life we may not always think about. As much as we all want to hide from those feelings of grief or drown in our pain, the best thing to do is face it and find a way to process and move forward. This is a collection of the poems I've written over the years to help me understand my feelings and move on after the repeated losses I've experienced. My hope is that perhaps some of these words help you understand your feelings, inspire you to write something for yourself, and remind you that you are not alone in your feelings. We all experience loss and death, they are inevitable consequences of life, but learning to live with your grief and finding your way forward is a process that I hope this collection helps you with.
