Aiden Shaw has sailed the known world and fought every monster known to man, but now, he just wants some peace. When the King of England captures their children, the two set out through the Moorlands to rescue them. They must depend on others, live off the land, and above all, learn to forgive themselves and trust each other once again. A fanciful, swashbuckling romance full of moral ambiguity, shows us that some noblemen are monsters and not all scary creatures are evil.
