While going through my storm, the Lord told me to write this book and share with others how to make it through. Every day may not be easy. It may seem like the pain is never going to end, but I stand as a living testimony that you can make it. I would like you to remember one thing, no matter what the outcome is, you are going to come out of this thing stronger, wiser and better. I remember the Lord gave me a song a while ago. He said, "What's to come is better than what's been." This book is not only a "self-help book," but it is also my testimony. Never let your good be evil spoken of and continue to remember that it's what you do for God that matters. I pray that this book will help you along the way and that God will begin to work on your heart if you are bitter, angry, hurting, shameful, prideful, selfish, resentful, or regretful. I pray that as I break down the process I had to endure, the words will come off the pages and wrap themselves around you and fill you with love, joy, peace and long-suffering. I pray that you remember this scripture while in your process, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8 NIV)
