This autobiographical account follows my journey as an immigrant who, having attained U.S. citizenship, embarked on a quest for love by returning to Africa. In the throes of passion, I unknowingly became entangled with a woman who harbored a hidden agenda, exploiting our relationship to secure entry into the United States. Subsequently, she absconded with my life savings after conceiving a child. The narrative unfolds as I track her down, encountering my son for the first time when he was eight months old. Legal proceedings ensued, resulting in a hard-fought victory for full custody. Fast forward nine years, a new chapter in my life unfolds as I find love with an OBGYN medical doctor who embraces my son as her own. Our journey culminates in marriage and the joyous addition of a new member to our family.
