Children don't realize how damaging overeating candy and food can be to their bodies. Granny saves the day is a sweet silly rhyming book that has a message which shows children how too much candy can rot their teeth and how too much food can lead to weight problems which can affect mobility. Growing up Italian food was a very important part of all family gatherings which lead me to struggle with weight issues. The bride and granny are both myself and the extreme sadness I felt growing up being overweight.
