The 2013 release culls highlights from three concerts performed at the Trinity Episcopal Church between 2007 and 2009. Clarinetist leads all three concerts, pianist is present for all three, as is , who plays guitar and banjo on all three, while bassist played on two and played on the other. The repertoire is, as the title suggests, beloved hymns and spirituals, all given a signature New Orleans flavor. This Dixieland band may not imprint its own signature too heavily on these tunes, but it's nevertheless a sweet tribute to music and a church they love. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
