Who would ever imagine that this person would grow to live the life she is living? To start out so broken, so secretly misguided, so young, wanting to end things before she even began. This person could have been anyone. "I Came As I Was" are only the parts I knew that had shaped my life. I never knew how to fix me; I just knew I was broken somewhere. God accepted every piece of me: the honest person and the liar, the user and the giver. He never made me feel like I was too dirty to be touched. He never judged me for how I reached out to Him. He caught me just as I was, ready to throw myself away. My life still isn't what I imagined, but what I imagined didn't include me writing this either. So, I thank God for everything that wasn't in my plans. I hope that we can continue growing together. No judgments, I pray we are better today than yesterday. Welcome to our healing.
