Franz Joseph Haydn's 1777 opera +Il Mondo della Luna gets an interpretation by the Teatro Alessandro Bonci in this stage production from 2009, helmed by Gabriella Medetti. It stars Carlo Torriani as Buonafede, Roberto Jachini Virgili as Ecclitico, Catia Pizzi as Ernesto and Sebastian Ferrada as Cecco, and features symphonic accompaniment by the Orchestra del Conservatorio 'Bruno Maderna' di Cesena under the direction of Giuseppe Camerlingo. Laura Daltri and Alessandro Turoni designed the sets; a team comprised of Gloria Fabbri, Marcella Magalotti, Cristina Occhiali Maria Paolini and Alessandro Turoni created the elaborate costumes; and Federica Zani did the choreography.
