SEVEN FRIENDS. SEVEN FATES. A shot fired through a thawed heart; a blue jay falls from the sky. Two deaths set off a chain reaction of events that threatens to completely shatter their fragile group. For most souls, it is relatively easy to receive the closure they need and move on to their final destination. Others, like Mihai Calin, find themselves stuck in the Ground, the realm between the dead and the living. Left with no memories of his life or how he died, he is unable to resolve his impediment and cross over. He and his companion, Jay, are stuck as grim reapers, helping others passing through to find peace. Neither have any hope of overcoming their fate until a certain soul comes along who can change everything-- even the things above the surface.
