I had the best treehouse when I was a kid. It was my refuge, my hideaway, and my fort all rolled into one. I remember spending hours upon hours in that treehouse, pretending I was a pirate or a king or a brave knight. It was my own little world, and I loved it. Sadly, my treehouse is long gone now. But the memories of it live on in my heart. Every time I see a tree with a strong branch, I can't help but think of the treehouse I used to have. And I can't help but smile.
