Now in her 9 decade, Anne John-Aitken recounts her remarkable life, spanning the world and making friends wherever she went. Born in Haiti in 1929, she has rich and vivid memories of her childhood growing up in the West Indies. In her teens, her family moved to England and Anne served as a WREN in the British Royal Navy before marrying and living in Scotland, England and Malta.
