The full-length debut from robotic rockers sounds as if it was recorded to the beat of a slow, quiet assembly line. Each track contains a haunting, restrained tone of droning indie and mumbling vocals. But without any signs of energy or enthusiasm, it also sounds almost as if the members of didn't want to be in the studio. The results are lifeless; this trio strikes a monotonous resemblance to or with the volume turned all the way down. The occasionally added saxophone leads also bring out the in , but that doesn't save this record from its all around flat sound. ~ Mike DaRonco
