**About Raquel Silva** Raquel Silva was born in Porto, Portugal in 1979. As the granddaughter of the great Angolan painter and sculptor, Roberto Silva, and a musician, she developed a taste for art from an early age. Despite having followed other paths professionally, with the birth of her daughter and seeing her taste for drawing, she recovered an old dream and started various training courses in painting and figurative drawing. With the loss of her mother, painting was the way she found to heal the pain and return color to her world.
