The 13 Yuletide-oriented numbers feature two previously released numbers apiece by the and pianist Otherwise, the music was being released for the first time in this 1998 CD. Heard from are bluesman ( ), (an unaccompanied vocal and piano solo on ), an odd duet by trumpeter on bassist with the trio ( ) and the group, ).
