Britain's Royal Ballet mounted this September 1962 stage production of Ferdinand Hérold's 1789 comic ballet +La fille mal gardée, with a company that includes Nadia Nerina as Lise, David Blair as Colas, Stanley Holden as Widow Simone and Alexander Grant as Alain. The Covent Garden Orchestra lends symphonic accompaniment, under the baton of John Lanchbery.
