La Judit first appeared in 1574 in La muse chretienne. The collection contains two other poems that are valuable both in literary terms and in terms of a profession of faith: L'Uranie and Le triomphe de la foy. This edition retranscribes them as an appendix and offers a deeper analysis of the epic poem.
