Suffering one night from the affliction that gives the record its title, he fired up some of his vintage synthesizers and began work on two long pieces that are designed to soothe the unquiet nocturnal minds of listeners. gently sets free waves of synthetic sound that undulate and flow like very sleepy rivers, and if his work resonates with listeners, they won't even remember it in the morning.
