This set on Spring Hill is not the only one to bear the "Mozart Effect" name, but it is the one geared towards adults rather than children. The liner notes encourage the listener to get past the stereotype of classical music as "forbidding, intimidating [and] snobbish." The notes help to make the music more accessible by providing the basics about Mozart and his music, as well as Campbell and "The Mozart Effect." It also includes track by track suggestions on what to listen for, focus on, and some optional physical movements to perform while utilizing this album. For those who cannot or do not want to employ this album in that manner, the proficient performances of pleasant music can still be recommended as a valuable introduction to the music of one of history's most celebrated composers--Mozart.
