They’re shipped to our stores very cold, so they stay as fresh as possible. The fruit will feel firm to the touch, but don’t make the mistake of thinking it isn’t ripe. It’s ripe. Just leave your Nectarines out at room temperature for 24-36 hours to let them soften and allow their bright aroma to shine through. It’s worth the wait.
