Corinne Day returns to New York City after solving her twin's murder, and exposing a political conspiracy in Washington, D.C. She soon learns that the conspiracy had followed her. Several attempts are made on her life, causing her friends from Washington to rush to her aid. Will they be in time, or will she join her sister as the conspirators' next murder victim?
