The book is a story of betrayal, rejection and unmet expectations, similar to the challenges I faced as a child. Not only did it expose my struggles, but gave me the tools necessary to grow as well. Little did I know that one day, this little character would come to life and mirror the struggles that we have all faced at one time or another.
