The famous Japanese artist, painter, and printmaker, Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), is best known for his woodblock print series "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji". The artist behind the world-famous , Hokusai lived and worked in what is now modern day Tokyo during the Edo Period. These origami papers were developed to enhance the creative work of origami artists and paper crafters.
