A group of orphans run from the dangerous streets of Old New York, but the way out also becomes dangerous. Running the streets of New York City in the 1650s was ended when they were chased by the Red Coats and the Black Hand Gang. Finding a wrecked ship to winter in, would change them. They grew from boys to men as they worked together. They'd found a ship wreck and worked on it as they spent the winter in it. They patched it up and got it afloat. A former First Mate of the ship shows up before they could sail away. The pirate who showed up teaches them to sail and be pirates. They named their ship Orphans Revenge. Just kids when they sailed for the first time, they grew to become men quickly. Their first taste of shares came from attacking a merchant ship; it was exciting. Becoming Buccaneers under Morgan relieved the risk of being hung for piracy. When they saw the brutality others in the fleet used they began to lose their appeal for quick easy money. Sure, stealing and pickpocketing was quick and easy, but this business was not the same. As they grew mentally, they began to see the captain for who he really was. At first, he was their teacher and mentor. Seeing he was indifferent to the killing of civilians for wealth was his true self. Now he was just another ruthless pirate like the rest. As with most adults they would have to choose between continuing as a group just for the wealth, or go their own ways.
