When verses of poems written by Poe begin appearing mysteriously on Deputy Fire Chief Alexis Scott's desk, there are hidden meanings behind them. Each verse is a clue leading to an arson fire with no clues as to who the arsonist is. As the case is investigated, problems within the department arise and it's up to Chief Scott, her department and the local police to catch whoever is setting the fire before more people become victims.
