Old beliefs about aging influence how people choose to live out their years following retirement and may influence their decisions on whether to retire in the first place. As a lifestyle expert, I help individuals explore their possibilities and maximize their potential, at any age. Today, older adults have the opportunity to map out lives differently than their parents did, with 60 being the new 40. Although some in society maintain outdated perceptions on aging, my work is to help older adults break through as many of these barriers as possible. Through the life cycle our desires and perceptions on life change and so do our passions and purposes. This book is to encourage older adults to spend time to rediscover their purpose.
