Chastity and her friends had a good thing going. They had made their own world safe and secure from the intrigues of their home planet Earth, all the while they continued to interfere with the world order of the Earth to protect it from itself. They had the knowledge of the Ancients as well as help from the Immortals to assist them in their plans. Through their abilities to travel the Pathways of Light, Chastity and her friends were able to rescue refugees from dozens of worlds trapped when their home planets had done the unthinkable to follow their own arrogance into the downward spiral of self-destruction. But there are limitations to the Cassandran's abilities outside of the realms of light. When an ancient scourge of the galaxy, the 'Zacanthians' becomes known to them they have to seek out new friends who have the ability to traverse the stars outside of the comfortable dimension of light. First on the Zacanthian menu is their home world of Earth, then their home of Cassandra. To save Earth and themselves they needed to find a people with skills not available to either of their worlds. The problem is that finding allies in a galaxy of a hundred billion stars is not the easiest thing to do. When they do find what they seek, are they ready to find out even more about their heritage, and their own place among the stars?
