This text examines the progress that has been made in the Unit ed States toward reclaiming breastfeeding as the socially accepted way to feed babies and young children. Articles written by experts in the field assess the issues surrounding reclaiming breastfeeding and have presented an up-to-date review of, and suggestions for, the current direction of efforts to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding.
