Jay C. Fikes, president of the Institute for Investigation of Inter-Cultural Issues, is listed in "Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America." He is a consultant, educator, speaker, and advocate for Native Americans. Among his recent works is "Carlos Castaneda, Academic Opportunism and the Psychedelic Sixties," and a documentary film on the Huichol Indians. Fikes makes his home in Carlsbad, California.
