Eleven-year-old Madeline Martinez was just accepted to the Launch Academy, a school that exists to train future employees of Launch (the organization that runs the world). Once Madeline gets there, she realizes that Launch may not be exactly what they seem. Her new friend Gabby Baker starts a group within the school to help put Launch out of power. But while all of this is going on, Madeline and Gabby have another problem on their hands. A problem they have to help Launch with. A threat to the very reality in which Madeline and Gabby live.
