As the global pandemic forces the bustling streets of New York City into lockdown, priests of the New York City Church, Father James (Thomas Jay Ryan) and Father Andrew (Kevin Corrigan), grapple with how to serve their increasingly isolated and distanced flock best. Yet as Father Andrew's longtime friend Paul (Max Casella) arrives at the church's doors, demanding entry and refusing to submit to the protocols of the pandemic, the two priests find themselves at odds over the spiritual pitfalls of a contemporary pandemic.
