Sometimes, we use words to share and sometimes, we use words to hide behind. When we hide behind words, we shroud ourselves in words like, "I'm fine," "Things are good," "I am not upset," and "No, nothing is wrong." We use these shrouds to hide our true selves and feelings, sometimes to hide, sometimes to protect, and sometimes to avoid. In this collection, the award-winning author has decided to remove some of her shrouds and share her thoughts, hopes, dreams, and the glimpses she gets from those around her. It is her desire to provide readers with a glimpse of who she is, what she thinks, and what she wants for herself and those around her.
