This little moon was created by scanning watercolor paintmarks and photographs of meadow flowers, and then digitally blending them. It's part of a series of pieces that were inspired by a commission undertaken for the Off the Shelf Festival, to mark the anniversary of the first moon landing.

Miriam Stayte grew up in London, earned a degree in Fine Art, and trained as a landscape architect. Following a career in design and project management, Miriam came back to the visual art practice and now works from a studio in Sheffield, UK.
