Jane reengaged in the melee, attacking the helmed foe that had been Moyra's target. She dodged a spear thrust to her face. As she moved down its length, she grabbed its shaft with her empty left hand. Annoyed, he bashed at her knee with his shield. She kicked it wide and thrust with her sword. He smirked contemptuously at her badly chosen target, for his heart was covered by chest plate armor. His insolent smile vanished when her exotic blue sword struck the exact place Moyra's arrow had hit earlier. The thrust went all the way through him with a heavy dull thud against the inside back of his armor.
