The post- /pre- clearing-house compilation set that destroys all competitors, 's goes so deep that even fanatics of the era in question will only find a cut or two worth keeping on each volume. The 25th volume does contain 's genius and ' hit and a few songs are curiosities in some respect, but there's far too much third-rate fluff to make this anything more than a middling affair. Hats off to for putting forth the effort in digging up all of these forgotten (or never known to begin with) singles, but they've taken obscurantism too far. ~ Andy Kellman
