Max Mayfield knows she doesn't fit in. She never seems to say the right thing, she isn’t cheesy or delicate as his mother pretends to be, and what she likes most are video games and skateboarding. Also, since her mother married Neil, and her half-brother, Billy, entered the scene, her life has become even more complicated.
