Lorna (Janine Reynaud) is the beautiful nightclub singer with a voracious appetite for sex and adventure. The action swings wildly from dream sequence to reality, and there is plenty of perversity, blood, gore, sex, nudity and horror. The haunting jazz score helps to blur the lines between what is real and what is imagined by our hedonistic heroine. Originally shown at the Berlin Film Festival in 1967, censorship problems delayed the international release. The censors were appeased when 54 seconds of film was judiciously pruned, allowing for the feature to be released in the Americas by 1968.
