There is no better definition of faith than that provided by the Bible: "It is, then, faith the certainty of what is expected, the conviction of what is not seen." (Version Reina Valera 1960) (Hebrews 11: 1) "Having faith is having the full security of receiving what is expected; is to be convinced of the reality of things we do not see."(Bible Study Version God speaks today). Our whole tripartite being: body, soul and spirit are involved in the powerful process of exercising faith. Our eyes look expectantly at the concretion of what is expected; our feelings in the soul elaborate thoughts about how our emotional reactions will be when, what is not seen now, becomes visible reality. The spirit is strengthened in the certain conviction that what we believe is already done, although we do not have it yet. Certainty and conviction come together in our being creating a powerful force capable of mobilizing us to achieve surprising facts. Faith is a gift, a superior gift, a profound mystery that floods our life when we exercise it. She produces amazing results by modifying situations and expectations. Alter the circumstances for good and produces in the heart an inexplicable joy to know internally that what we expect is already fulfilled. Faith raises our capacity for holiness on this earth, and by accepting Jesus as Savior transforms us into righteous before God and makes all life worthwhile to be lived: Behold, he whose soul is not upright is proud; but the just shall live by faith. (Habakkuk 2: 4) It is sad to see people without faith. Listen to those who say, without any hope that after death there is nothing. That everything is over. But, on the other hand, it is beautiful to see those who have hope, generated by a faith that transcends; who believe with total certainty in God and in what He has done so that we can be in His presence after death.
