Featuring the adventures of Barney and Victoria Custer from Beatrice, Nebraska. We first encounter Barney Custer in Lutha, a small kingdom in Europe where he is mistakened for the mad king. At the close of the story, Barney and Victoria head for Africa where they meet up with Lord Greystoke, Tarzan of the Apes. Here Victoria meets a cave man, Nu. Her adventures with Nu are chronicled in two stories, one taking place in the present, and one in the past. Finally, we return to Lutha with Barney as he attempts to unravel the kingship of that country. We present these four stories in the exact order in which they were written by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
