Pastor William J. Bass teaching series entitled, "The Day's Encouraging Word inspired him to write this book. The Holy Spirit led him to name it The D.E.W. because the dew signifies truth and the Word of God says that you shall know the truth and the truth shall set or make you free. Therefore, it's his goal to provide you with daily droplets of truth and encouragement to kick-start your day. His scriptural text as it relates to the dew is "Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants." Deuteronomy 32:2 (NIV Version).
