Xovay Wren seeks out her friends Zane and Blaise to help her find her ailing and aging grandfather, who has vanished into the North Wildlands. Eager to explore a new land, they set out to find him, though it is a land they know nothing about. As usual, they encounter one disaster after the next, because this is a wild land full of monsters, corruption, and war. They are soon swept up in a war between the pureblood Elves and the mixed bloods, a war that could shake the entire North Wildlands to its foundations. They must band together with their newfound friends to stop the growing tide of horrors.
