I believe that there are women (whether the feminine type, laid back with joggers, or somewhere in between) that are walking in their independence, yet lacking the maturity to submit to the one they can be fully dependent on. They know that there is room for more spiritual growth yet are fighting with their flesh. It wasn't long ago that I too was in this battle. For some, you were raised in church and know all of the "Christianese" yet you're not pressing into his presence. As a matter of fact, you've been one the fence, but you know God is with you and you desire more of him. Then there are some who have never thought twice about getting into his presence. You're good where you are (or are you?). You're a good person, and there's nothing you want to change...except, you've been feeling a void you can't quite explain.This book is set up as a devotional that will help guide you through some of the internal issues we face. I introduce the four areas of discipline: Seeking, Serving, Submitting, Scripture, that I believe we can all benefit from for spiritual growth. These four areas are broken down through discussion, prayers, scriptures, and tips on submitting and serving. You can see a change in your life when you make the time to sit in his presence. Let's discuss matters that we all can bring to the feet of Jesus from dealing with guilt, to living a victorious life.Grown woman of independence and freedom, I challenge you to press more into his presence. I challenge you to let him have you fully! No more straddling the fence, or only doing what your flesh wants. Make the time to SEEK him more, start SUBMITTING to him fully, SERVE others, the Kingdom, and read his word; SCRIPTURE, so that it abides in you each day! You aren't going to lose who you are, he is going to make you a better you!
