(Book 2 in the series) By a miracle, the Hunters were rescued. Luther takes them back to his family farm, where they discuss the creatures. Luther learns that Jack and the others were taunted by the creatures. The group devises a plan to try and rescue the others who are abducted. This plan ultimately fails. The new plan is to make it off the farm alive by putting the creatures to sleep with tranquilizer darts allowing them time to make it to the local police station.
