With no respite in sight from a day-long deluge, droves of people from the Montevideo streets arrive at the local old-fashioned cinema, eager to see a film and take their minds off of the rain. Ana (Luciana Grasso) works as the theater's projectionist, taking over the position for her ailing father. Yet as Ana dims the lights to put on a classic film, she fails to notice the audience below succumbing to the brutal death-blows of an unsettling, mysterious serial killer.
