They must overcome many obstacles in the form of blue coats, renegade indians, and the Little People, to name a few to complete their quest. The memories or history of the Mountain Shoshone, their Gods, and spirit helpers, depend on Aggretta finding the stories pecked into stone and being able to read them. If she fails, her people will be forgotten, as if they had never existed. Their journey will be dangerous and will come at great cost as they travel through the Wind River Mountains and across the plains of what is now Wyoming.
