The Next Lesson is a spiritual concept and includes a daily practice journal. This book is simple in concept but profound in application. It is intended to inspire healing on a very deep level and to be useful to those of both religious and nonreligious orientations. The main goal is to catalyse a shift in perspective with the hardships of life. I refer to "the point of integration" as the moment when a patient shifts from victimization of their problems, where they are exhausted and demoralized, to an experience of meaning. They begin to trust that there is a lesson to be learned that is part of a bigger plan designed to serve in a way still yet to be revealed.
